{February 4, 2015}   “Taking control of my life” 2015 (Part 3 ) Topics

Topics I will be covering are many and varied and also very different from each other they are as follows ————

The Importance of Animal de-sexing and the impact it has on communities if the public don’t follow this procedure —- this does not have to be some long drawn out story the answer comes with basic common sense strategies in order to break down the massive feral cat population, for instance you buy or get given a cat and reckon it’s only fair to allow the female to have a litter or litters you then sell or give away all of these non de-sexed felines and there only has to be one just one male cat in those areas where the kittens ended up and it becomes multiplication tenfold and continues year after year with neighbours complaining of cat fights usually during the middle of the night the average person only buy’s a pet every ten years and yet the stats here at the Lost Dog’s Home in Melbourne alone are 38,000 + cat’s with no where to go not to mention dogs that have to be euthanised every year ———- as there are not enough homes for these to be housed let alone shelters to keep, them the same applies with, not being able to feed 38,000 + unwanted cat’s of which is a ridiculously stupid cruel and selfish act by those who have not understood the importance of desexing animals at an early age.

Councils are as equal to blame as they have not adopted mandatory de-sexing with anyone who wishes to own an animal  and yet they all put their hand out each year collecting literally thousands upon thousands of dollars for Animal registrations of which does not even go towards animal welfare —— my point of view there are more intelligent people standing in unemployment queues who could adapt more successful points of view.

Money needs to be spent on public awareness and education for those who don’t give a damn about what happens to their animals in fact those types of people seem to be more the problem than the animals themselves I want to see my animal registrations spent on animal welfare. What do you think ???

quote – This statement is only intended for the general community with domestic pets’ and not for show Breeders who should have the proper licenses and permits in place.
